Burgess Park Food Project is based in Glengall Wharf Community Garden on the edge of Burgess Park; which was set up by local people keen to grow food sustainably in North Peckham. There are lots of opportunities to get involved in the garden – as a general volunteer, a lead volunteer, a committee member, a key holder or helping with events. No experience is needed, but if you do have a particular skill that may be useful then please do let them know what you can offer! As a volunteer you can learn skills related to gardening, permaculture, wild food and more. We welcome everybody, regardless of gardening ability and hope to offer space to learn and grow your own ideas.
