Friends of East Peckham are the group responsible for organising the annual Friends of Brimmington Park Festival, which is held each June in, you guessed it, Brimmington Park. Those of you less familiar with Queens Road Peckham, Brimmington Park is a cute little park down Asylum Road towards the Old Kent Road. The festival is great fun with music, performances, food, craft and other things for sale, as well as local organisations and projects being present. It is entirely run by volunteers and welcomes anyone local who wants to help organise the event.
FOPE members also support the upkeep of Goldsmiths Nature garden, a small council owned parcel of land on meeting house lane. Working with the council recent improvements have been delivered to this space and there is a fortnightly gardening session in there on Wednesday mornings 10-12pm (second and fourth Wednesdays of the month)
